CASEY AUBIN

Freshman Head Coach

Coach Aubin is returning for his 6th year as a LHS Football Coach, and teacher. Coach Aubin was born and raised in Orland Park, Illinois, where he attended Carl Sandburg High School. He lettered in Varsity football and boys’ volleyball for two years respectively. After high school Coach Aubin went on to earn a B.S. in History Education from Illinois State University.  Coach Aubin recently earned his Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently working on a Masters Degree in educational technology.  This will be Coach Aubin’s 9th year coaching football, and his 5th year as the Head Freshman football coach at LHS.  

 

ADAM FAULKNER

Freshman Assistant Coach

Coach Faulkner is in his first year as a Freshman coach. Adam grew up in Libertyville and played in the Boys Club program. He graduated from Carmel High School (‘02) where he lettered for 2 years on Varsity as a running back and helped lead his Senior team to a 11-2 record and their 1st appearance in the IHSA Semifinals. Adam continued to play competitively while receiving his Bachelor’s in History, Secondary Education from Appalachian State University (‘06). He was the Varsity and JV Defensive Coordinator at Franklinton H.S before earning his Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina State University (‘10). Coach Faulkner returned to Illinois in 2011 and this Fall will be his 5th year as a Teaching Assistant in the LHS Special Education Department. Adam also coaches Shot put and Discus during the Spring. He currently resides in Libertyville and is a proud father to his 1 year old daughter, Aria.

 

 

KEVIN O’NEILL

Freshman "B” Head Coach

Kevin O'Neill is originally from Park Ridge where he attended Maine South High School. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he majored in Secondary History Education and played rugby. Kevin taught and coached for 3 years at Gordon Tech in the Chicago Catholic League. This will be his fifteenth year at Libertyville coaching the B-Team, and his sixth as Head Coach. Kevin teaches AP Euro and World History, and is one of the voices of Cat TV. Kevin and his wife Amy, also a teacher at LHS, are enjoying watching their first child, Maggie (4), grow into a Wildcat fan and all are excited for another year of Wildcat football!

 

SERRY POLLOCK

Freshman Assistant Coach

As a freshmen assistant, Serry is entering his fourth year coaching football at LHS.  Previously, Serry spent 10 years coaching football at Mundelein High School, where he has been a biology teacher for the past 21 years.  Currently, Serry also coaches baseball at MHS.  Serry earned a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's in Education from Roosevelt University.  He lives in Cary with his wife Renata and his two year old daughter, Sadie.  He is really looking forward to another great season at LHS!

 

BRADY SULLIVAN

Freshman Assistant Coach

Coach Sullivan is returning for his fifth year with the Freshmen.  He graduated from Libertyville High School (Class of ’98) where he lettered two years on the varsity football and lacrosse teams. Sullivan continued playing lacrosse at the University of Illinois where he also earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.   He has taught math and been head coach of the varsity lacrosse team since his arrival at Libertyville in 2006.  Sullivan lives in Hainesville with his wife, Tiffany and daughters, Madilyn and Olivia.
